Carolina Ebel is a founding partner of Uqbar and is responsible for the company's pedagogy. Previously she was a consultant for UNESCO (United Nations Organization for Science, Culture and Education) in London and New York. She was responsible for conceptualizing, writing, editing and the layout of didactic material for on-going education, organizing seminars for professors and implementing the Conference for Students at the UN on Human Rights in 2000.
Ms. Ebel was an associate specialist of UNESCO ASPNet (UNESCO Associated Schools Program), within the Education, Humanistic, Cultural and International Section, coordinating regional and international projects involving associated schools in some of the 130 member countries of UNESCO, organizing international forums, writing articles, editing educational materials and organizing international competitions.
In São Paulo, Brazil she worked in several educational areas, including teaching languages to adults and children.
Ms. Ebel initiated her career in Buenos Aires as a professor at various levels of the school institution as well as in the area of informal education.
Ms. Ebel earned a masters of science degree in education from the Université Sorbonne René Descartes Paris V and a bachelor's degree in pedagogy from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in São Paulo. She has several specializations in Multimedia for Education, Translation and Project Zero of Harvard University regarding the culture of comprehension in organizations.
Se is married, has two children, and is fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
